Construction of Hudson Bay Railway. The Pas, Manitoba. The completion of this railway fulfilled the longstanding vision of Prairie farmers for a direct rail link to the sea.
Dawson Road National Historic Event. Ste. Anne, Manitoba. This land and water route from Fort William to Red River was Canada’s first attempt to provide an all-Canadian highway linking the east to the Prairies.
