Territorial Grain Growers Association. Johnston Ave and Highway 56, Indian Head, Saskatchewan. Inadequate grain shipping and marketing arrangements had fostered a protest meeting at this location on December 18, 1901 which ultimately sparked the movement for an independent farmers’ organization.
